Paid Surveys: YouGov

YouGov is one of my all-time favourite paid survey sites. In less than a year I earnt over £800 with them. They pay out by cheque every time you hit £50; December was quite a busy month and I received £150!!

I’ve certainly recommended to a few friends that this paid surveys company should be one of the very first survey companies they join, partly because of the good earnings potential, but also because quite often within a few weeks of filling out their surveys, you hear about them on the TV news or read about the in the newspaper. I love it when I recognise a paid survey I filled out being quoted!

Paid Web Surveys Clubs: Survey Storage

Paid Surveys - Storage Surveys

Survey storage is a paid membership site that keeps a constant watch on new survey companies and adds them to their database.  Your membership of such a paid surveys site means you no longer have to go looking for new survey companies to join, they do that for you. Yes, there is a fee to join, but you’re paying for the work that Survey Storage are constantly putting in to keep their database up to date and to continually research new web surveys companies to add to the list, so you can join them and get paid!

Survey storage has now moved into the UK Survey marketplace and has an extensive list of UK paid web survey companies. Obviously more than I have here because I don’t charge any membership fee. Whereas they will have to pay staff to manage their lists and keep their site updated.

If getting off to a fast start is important to you (and it could take you months to try to find a full list of surveys yourself, by which time you’ve lost your momentum), then this is certainly a great site to join.

Paid Surveys: How Much Will You Earn?

Now there’s a question that can’t be answered easily!

Many paid survey sites make claims that you can earn £100’s each month from doing paid surveys. But being realistic you need to take a long-term view with this and build up to earning good money by signing up for all the sites and seeing what happens.

Each company will send you different amounts of surveys to fill in.

Each company will pay different amounts. Some don’t pay cash, they pay in prizes. So each one is different.

Overall, look on them as being fun as much as a way to make money and if you make £30-50/month as a bit of extra pocket money then consider this a bonus. However, stick with it … and over time you’ll find you’re on more company lists, get more invites, get quicker at filling them in … and earnings can escalate.

I haven’t ever counted up exactly how much money I earn from doing paid surveys, but I know it’s over £200/month , but I admit to spending more time talking about them than doing them!

Some paid survey companies put your name into a prize draw for each set of answers you give them. If you’re a lucky winner then you will get the £100’s, some even have £5000 top prizes – and somebody’s winning them!
